CHAPTER SECOND. Or NOUNS. Words in the Carnáțaca language are divided into five classes, viz. 25o, as or those of pure Carnațaca origin; objave words borrowed from the Sanscrit, but having Carnáțaca terminations; w a corruptions of Sanscrit words which have undergone certain changes according to the rules of grammar ; wa moja words that are corrupted, and principally used by the lower classes of the people ; and en, oso ga words borrowed from other languages, and subject to all the rules to which 85ēj words are liable. The state of a noun before it is inflected, is called doja aw or crude noun. The crude poups in the Caroktaca language, are divided into four sorts; viz. నామ ప్రశృరిగలు or nouns substantive, and proper names: శృతశృంగను or verbal nouns ; తద్ధిత ప్రశృతిగస or derivative nouns ; and సమాస ప్రశు ex u or compound nouns. EXAMPLES రూవు a fower; వరవు a tree; రవళcoral ; అప్పరి? an upstair house; 800g, a frying pan; a day, aw Bommanu ; dar, ao Timmanu; qusu 837 aw a stone cutter : 090#buy a timid person, or one that is constantly feuring ; 890&f the act of fearing; Now the act of trusting; లూటిగారను a gamester ; రాళయు a cool breeze ; రావశిగంగాను a bolus-eyed man; 505 too a bird cage.
